The fresh details revealed by SaharaReporters on Twitter shows how the Governor moved sums ranging from N20million to N300million from his Zenith Bank account to his account in Access bank as well as the a UBA account belonging to Fitts Associates. Other transactions on the Governor's Zenith bank account were also revealed from December 2001 till date. This is coming following the EFCC's investigation on the Ekiti Governor's account on the premise of his alleged involvement in the Arms Deals Fraud. The EFCC had alleged several billions of Naira were wired to the Gov from the Office of the embattled ex-NSA boss, Sambo Dasuki.

According to a reports, the Prosecuting counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo Isiokuwa made it known that the 42 witnesses will testify against the defendants in the case when the trial begins later in the year. It should be noted that 29 properties were seized from the three former heads of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) as a result of the EFCC's investigation.

The militants engaged Onaguga’s security team in gun battle when she embarked on an inspection visit to some borderline communities between Ogun and Lagos states‎ sacked by militants. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the suspected militants had last Friday attacked the communities killing scores of residents. Onanuga, who visited Imushin, Elepete and Igbo-Olomu communities‎, reassured the residents of the commitment of the authorities to protect their lives and property. The suspected militants however, began shooting at the security operatives who accompanied the deputy governor at Akoka Ebute area of Ibafo, in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area. However, the gun battle which lasted for about 20 minutes, did not record any casualty. The minister gave the order on Monday in Abuja shortly after an on-the-spot assessment of the Kuje prisons where two inmates had escaped on Friday.   The two inmates standing trial for murder were said to have escaped from the kuje prison on Friday and are still at large. Dambazau, who was taken round the prison facility by the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Prisons Service (NPS), Ahmed Jafaru and other prison officials, expressed dismay at the ugly incident. He said that he had ordered for detailed investigation into the matter and vowed to get to the root of the matter, while the hunt for the escaped inmates continues. The Court of Appeal in Lagos on Tuesday, struck out appeals by Ecobank, against a Federal High Court's ruling, over alleged indebtedness of Honeywell Plc. Ecobank had in January, instituted a suit before the lower court, over an alleged N3.5 billion unpaid loan facility by Honeywell. The Lower Court Judge, Justice Mohammed Yunusa , had issued an interim order via an exparte application by the bank, restricting Honeywell's financial transaction. However, the appellate Court had in a judgment delivered on March 30, set aside the exparte orders, describing it as not judicious. The bank had then filed a motion for injunctions pending appeal. Meanwhile, Honeywell in reaction also filed a counter affidavit in response to their motions for injunctions. At the hearing of the appeal on Tuesday, Counsel to the bank, Mr O. O. The Chief Of Army staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai has accused cyber terrorists of spreading false allegations against him. Buratai also said the Army is putting a cyber team together to counter the alleged terrorists’ propaganda. The Army chief also said the rumours are being spread by members of the Boko Haram sect who have been defeated.
