Mikel Obi denies donating N11M to Dream Team VI

Captain of Team Nigeria to the 2016 Olympic Games, John Obi Mikel has denied donating N11m ($30,000) to the Dream Team VI. Several reports from Nigerian media on Thursday, July 28 say that he donated the sum after he joined the squad on Monday, July 25, 2016 at their camp in Atlanta, United States. Mikel Obi says the reports are aimed at bringing disunity in the Dream Team VI camp (Twitter/Timi Ebikagboro) He further shut down the reports that the players are in unfair conditions in camp due to financial difficulties, pointing out that all the players in the squad are doing well.   " Tell me the players who are in this team that are so hungry that will be looking up to me for survival? ” Mikel asked.

The actress put to bed around 2 PM on Saturday, July 16, 2016, in  Texas . Now, she has shared a photo of her glowing baby bump. The actress who kept her pregnancy under wraps took to Instagram today, July 29, 2016, showing off her baby bump from a maternity shoot. She shared a photo collage writing, " The journey.... " Her bundle of joy comes after a baby shower was organised by a few of her friends. The identity of the father of the child has however not been disclosed, but he is suspected to be the actress' US based lover. Thomas started receiving congratulatory messages on her I nstagram  page from fans, after she posted a cryptic message announcing the birth of the child.

Adewale told the anti-graft agency that how he moved election money for Ex-minister

A Nigerian Navy officer, Lt.-Cdr Olumide Adewale, has revealed that he helped former minister of Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, to transport money to Akure, and confirmed that the money was received by Abiodun Agbele for Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State. According to Sahara Reporters, Adewale, who was the Aide-de-Camp to Obanikoro, stated this on Wednesday, July 28, while being grilled by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The money was said to be part of the N4.7 billion that was paid into Obanikoro’s sons’ company account, Sylvan McNamara. Adewale told the anti-graft agency that his job was to carry out all the instructions given by his boss, Obanikoro. He recalled that on June 16, 2014, he and Obanikoro, went to the Murtala Muhammed Airport , Ikeja, Lagos, and on getting to there, Obanikoro’s son, Gbolahan was waiting.
