A Twitter user shared photos from an abattoir in Anambra State where meat is being handled in horrible conditions. According to twitter user @Chybyke, he stumbled upon some butchers at the Kwata abattoir in Anambra State and was stunned by the way the meat was being handled. According to him, the butchers were ‘washing’ the slain meat in muddy water, as a means of getting it ready for open market purchase. A disappointed @Chybyke had this to say:

A 50-year-old Chinese businessman identified as Si Guicai, has committed suicide after he was said to have complained of frustration and loss of huge money he had invested in his business. Also Read: " Depression: Bank give reasons manager committed suicide" The body of Guicai, according to the Lagos State Police Command, was found dangling from the window of his apartment at the Itohan Avenue, Ikeja area of the state, at about 9pm on Sunday, July 31, 2016. The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Supol Dolapo Badmus, has confirmed the incident, adding that a team of police officers have visited and examined the scene of the act. A Man was arrested over rape of landlord’s 11-yr-old daughter

  A 52-year-old man identified as Yunusa, has been arrested by the police in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, for allegedly defiling the 11-year-old daughter of a landlord in the Gosa-Toge suburb of the FCT. Also Read: "Pervert: Ex-councillor nabbed for raping 7-yr-old girl in Delta" A resident of the area identified as Musa, said the accused lured the girl with some money, into his room at about 7pm on Saturday, July 20, and forcefully raped her. The witness said though the landlord and Yunusa did not stay in the same compound, the accused might have taken advantage of the girl whom all the tenants usually send on errands. "Yunusa had sent the girl on the errand and when she returned, he lured her into his room where he had carnal knowledge of her.
